Alan R. Batkin is Vice Chairman of Eton Park Capital Management, L.P., a multi-strategy investment firm.  Before serving in this role, he was Vice Chairman of Kissinger Associates, Inc., a geopolitical consulting firm that advises multinational companies, from 1990 through 2006.  From 1972 until 1990, he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he also served for 14 years as a Managing Director.

In addition to OSG, Mr. Batkin is a director of three New York Stock Exchange-listed companies:  Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc., Cantel Medical Corp. and Hasbro, Inc.  He is also Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the International Rescue Committee and a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of The Brookings Institution.

Mr. Batkin is a member of The Trilateral Commission; the Council on Foreign Relations; the Inter-American Dialogue; and the Pacific Council on International Policy. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Continuum Health Partners, Inc., one of the largest nonprofit hospital chains in New York City, and its constituent hospitals. He is Chairman of Continuum Hospice Care, the largest hospice in New York.

Mr. Batkin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rochester and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University. He has been an OSG Board member since 1999.
